Spotlight Night Dates Announced

Tuesday, December 13th vs. Farmington-   4A             

Tuesday, January 10th vs. Rosemount-   6A and 6B             

Friday, January 20th  vs. Bloomington Kennedy-  7A and 7B             

Tuesday, January 24th vs. Eastview-  8A and 8B             

Tuesday, January 31st  vs. Burnsville- In-house Night         

Monday, February 6th vs. Apple Valley- Traveling Night       

 

Spot Light Night Activities:

*      Traveling team(s) go into the locker room with the high school team 5 minutes prior to game start. 

*      Traveling team(s) announced before the starting five and run out onto the court

*      Traveling team(s) stand on the end of the player line for high fives before the starting five introduction

*      Traveling team(s) sit behind the player bench during the game

*      When possible, we also have the traveling team(s) scrimmage or do some type of drills during half time

 

4th-8th Grade Traveling Teams

 
We would like to thank all of the players for coming to tryouts for the 2011-2012 Lakeville South Girls Traveling Basketball Season.  The players represented themselves well and we were happy to see the improvements in their skills based on off season efforts.  The tryouts were very competitive and our evaluators had to make difficult decisions in forming the teams.  Unfortunately, not every player that tried out made a team so it is truly a privilege to be a part of Lakeville South’s traveling program regardless of whether you make an A or B team.  We expect to field very competitive teams at all age levels and look forward to watching the players/teams improve throughout the season.  We hope that everyone has a fun and rewarding season and represents Lakeville South with class and good sportsmanship.  Congratulations on your selection to the Lakeville South Girls Traveling Program for 2011 – 2012.  Go Cougars!  If you have any questions, please contact Mike McNab at 952-250-2099.
